Tourism Noosa actively works with Travel Agents, Wholesalers and Product Managers to educate the domestic and international travel industry on the many attractions of the destination. In doing so, we support the dedicated familiarisation programs coordinated by Tourism Australia, Tourism Queensland and Sunshine Coast Destination Ltd as well as independent familiarisations arranged directly through our organisation.

We welcome product or destination enquiries from travel industry representatives and can assist with resources such as images and recommended itineraries.

Food and wine festivities are on!

The Noosa International Food & Wine Festival kicks off today, with one of many highlights, and two of my favourite cooking personalities - The Cook, The Chef and The Orchestra Gala Concert from 5pm.

If you weren’t thinking of coming to Noosa this weekend, perhaps you should change your mind as big name chefs like David Thompson, Poh Ling Yeon, Ian Curley, Matt Preston and more will be in town. You’re likely to spot them as they soak up the Noosa atmosphere while they’re here.
Not to mention big name music entertainment acts like Sneaky Sound System and Anthony Callea.
I will be at the festival on Saturday to catch former Master Chef contestants Kate Bracks, Julie Goodwin and Adam Liaw’s “Dinner Party” and Alastair McLeod and Daniel Ridgeway’s Fusion – just to name a few!
It doesn’t matter if you haven’t booked for a degustation or food trail, because there is a load to do with the general admission to Lion’s Park – eat, drink, learn and be entertained!
Tickets for tonight cost $55, and include two food and wine tickets. Ticket prices for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are $65 and includes two food and wine tickets, children under $13 are $20 each day.

EUMUNDI COMES ALIVE WITH COLOUR

Australia’s premier body art event is set to hit Eumundi again this weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13!

The Australian Body Art Carnivale is an amazing, colourful event, with this year’s theme – Under the Sea – set to turn the streets of Eumundi into a underwater wonderland.
Besides the amazing artworks on display and music all weekend – the best part is that it is free!
At previous events I’ve been taken aback with how artists make these human canvases take shape – you have to see it to believe it.
For artists it presents an opportunity to showcase their creativity, and for attendees to experience the amazing atmosphere.
The weekend is sure to be a hit, with a plethora of entertainment, including a gala ticketed event on Saturday, from 6.30 to 8.30pm, at the Fig Tree Restaurant, Memorial Drive, Eumundi. Tickets cost $35 each and you can buy them online at www.australianbodyart.com.au or visit Discover Eumundi Heritage and Visitor Information Centre.
Other entertainment will include competitions and exhibitions in wearable art, vehicle art and photography ; plus music and world-class street performers.
